Winner of the futureSAX Startup Competition 2016
On 6th June the award winner of the futureSAX Startup Competition have been honoured in Dresden by Martin Dulig, Saxon State Minister for Economic Affairs, Labour and Transport. The award for the most innovative startup in Saxony was given to Team "Senorics" from Dresden. Check out all winners of the futureSAX Startup Competition 2016:
1st place – Team "Senorics" from Dresden
Ripeness, moistness or protein content - important quality parameters for crop, and therefore also for farmers. Up to now they are only determinable after harvesting. Senorics develops novel optical sensors based on organic semiconductors allowing determination already before harvesting - fast, simple and cheap. Given continuously growing global population this is a multi-billion Euro market.
2nd place - Rhebo GmbH from Leipzig
Rhebo Industrial Protector monitors the continuous operation of Industrial Control Systems to prevent outages and reduce downtimes. Its fully automatic anomaly detection guarantees maximum operational security and protection from cyberattacks. Operators of automated production and critical infrastructures benefit from Rhebo’s solution by enormous cost savings due to the reduction of system outages
3rd place – LAVIU GmbH from Freiberg
LAVIU GmbH develops and produces Lovetoys- made in Germany. The unique selling proposition is a surface pulsating completely silent. This is realized with a patented, innovative technology. The lovetoy market which is driven by innovation and is strongly growing, focusses on noise. This problem is completely redefined by LAVIU technology.
futureSAX Online Award – Team „MISSY ROCKZ“ from Dresden
Winner of the futureSAX Online Award, which is conducted with friendly support of Cyberport is Team „MISSY ROCKZ“.
The aim of the startup MISSY ROCKZ is to establish a new shoe style for women in the international market. The so-called SPORT HIGH HEEL is a market gap. It is a combination of a sport shoe and high heel, which convinces with a very high quality, a high degree of comfort and lovingly detailed designs.

The goal of the futureSAX Startup Competition is to promote innovative and growth-oriented startup plans in Saxony and to develop initial ideas cooperatively into business models. The best business ideas and startup concepts are selected and evaluated by a jury of specialists.
